I’m no expert in this area. I was fortunate enough to land a job in finance after graduating from college. It didn’t pay much my first year, but, boy, did I learn a lot! It’s still a little strange to me how you can be expected to handle a multi-million dollar portfolio, but only get paid peanuts. Oh well, that’s water under the bridge now. And, like I said, I learned a lot. And that’s priceless. After that I became my daddy’s ‘right-hand-man,’ at the company he owns. Talk about a change of scene! I went from wearing matching skirt suits to jeans, leggings…whatever I wanted! Well, my daddy has relocated to another area of Texas and I decided to stay here. (It was a great three years!) So job hunting has been my job lately. Today I had an interview for the position of a computer lab teacher. I have a second interview tomorrow! I’ll keep ya posted! Take a peek at my simple interview outfit. Pearls and polka dots.

Thanks for stopping by my page and welcome! A little bit about me: I am a born and raised Texas Girl. I love all things fashion, faith, family and friends. I believe fashion doesn't have to break the bank, if you know what basic pieces to buy and how to accessorize. I would describe my fashion sense as simple and casual with a touch of feminine. I am extra petite, I love food, and I am passionate about animals. I am a teacher who loves to shop and I hold a degree in Art and Business. View all posts by the embroidered frock
