I can’t emphasize enough that if you buy simple, classic pieces, they never go out of style. I love prints and patterns as much as the next girl, but they don’t make your closet “stretch” as much as solid, classic pieces do. I’ve had this dress for 11 years and still love it. Classic never goes out of style.

How lucky am I to have snagged this dress for $12.99? Very lucky! The picture doesn’t do it justice to the color, the detail, and the softness of the fabric. Paired it with Stella and Dot and James Avery jewelry and done!
I bought this t-shirt dress at Target and usually just wear it around the house or to run errands and it is so comfy. To add a little pop to it, I’ve added some aqua pops of color. Sorry, I have had just no motivation lately to put on makeup. Don’t worry, I’ll get motivated again soon!
I have had this dress for yeeears! In 2007, the city I live in (finally)Â got a flagship Forever 21 store and its stolen my heart (and wallet) ever since. Don’t be discouraged by the name! You can find items for all ages in there! At Christmas, my grandma bought herself a scarf from there. Well anyway, when the store opened I was a recent college grad and had limited funds, but I splurged and bought this dress. At the time, I wore this dress regularly and not off the shoulder. Well, over the years, I’ve possibly expanded and the dress became shorter. Now I wear it off the shoulder to give it some extra length, but it is still one of my all time favorite dresses! Always will be and the embroidery is a def plus! The purse I featured is a leather laser cut crossbody that can also be worn as a clutch. Inside the purse is like a wallet with lots of space still for a phone, lipstick, compact mirror, pen and paper.
This top reminds me of one of those celebration pennant banners. Up close the embroidery stitching detail is so beautiful. The best part of this outfit is the sweet, delicate cactus necklace. So dainty and cute.
But it still makes the cutest, casual outfit. A cheap head-to-toe outfit for $75 dollars! Hot pink and black and white stripes is a win!
I don’t wear t-shirts too often, but this one is a winner! This shirt was a gift from my sweet friend, Mel. I’m so happy she bought it for me, because it’s something I wouldn’t have bought for myself.
Well, it was a hot day this day. I had a job interview earlier, too. I had to wear slacks and a blazer 😥 But as soon as I got home, I slipped on this soft dress with amazing embroidered, beaded details. Also, my sweet friend, Lissette, got me this awesome straw clutch and I want to wear it everyday! Keep your fingers crossed that I get the job!
