What can I say? I love this tank top.   

I can’t think of a better way to transition into Fall than an olive colored off the shoulder dress that I wore for a Friday evening spent with my friend, Cindy. It’s just not quite boot season here in South Texas.   

One of the many, many great things about being a teacher is wearing these cute, dorky clothes! 

 

I feel like Fall is edgy because you start to see leather jackets in stores, colors get darker…

Anyway, this Guns and Roses baseball tee is about as edgy as I get. 😂 What can I say?? I’m feminine, y’all! 

Oh and I’ve been wanting a red leather purse for so long and I finally bought one. I don’t know how I lived without a red purse!

 

these vintage Escada sequined shorts are so cute and so fancy. So to tone them down, I mixed a super casual tank to these sparkley shorts.   

So I’ve always said I’ll never go back to school again. I have a degree in art, business, and sociology. A few years ago, I went back to school to get my teachers certification, but never taught. Well, now that I’ve entered the education field, I have to complete Phase II of my teacher certification and it’s…not as bad as I thought! Never stop learning, y’all! ‘Gracias’ for all my blessings!  

 The weather here in South Texas these last few days has been awesome. Sunny, breezy and dry. The mornings and evenings are even a tad bit cool. I wore this beautiful embroidered dress to brunch on the island.  

Here in Texas, it’s still pretty warm, but signs of Fall are showing. I like this outfit because it’s comfortable and is still good for transitioning. And sorry, I just don’t feel like wearing makeup all the time anymore. #lazy
