Casual is My Comfort Zone

Chunky sweaters are a great investment piece. Buy one or two really quality ones and you’ll wear them for years to come. I have this hunter green one and a camel colored one and they never go out of style and they are so classic. I got them both from Gap. Also, these Sanuk yoga mat sandals are soooooo amazing.

Sweater (old) Gap $38

Leggings Forever 21 $4

Sandals: Sanuks $36

Spurs Win!

So professional team apparel can be expensive, but I’ll share a tip. I like to get my NBA or NFL tees and tanks from TJ Maxx and/or HEB Plus. The Spurs tank top I’m sporting here was only $10 at TJ Maxx. Check the athletic wear section for random pieces at exceptional prices.

So Blue

So I’ve been feeling a little ‘blue,’ and thought this dress was appropriate to…make me feel better! So here’s the scoop. My dog chewed up one of my boots. I had only worn them once! I debated on throwing the boots away, but instead I took them to a cobbler. And then forgot about them for two months. One day last week, I remembered to go pick them up. The only cobbler in town, that I’m aware of, is in the mall a.k.a. Danger zone. So I was just going to use the drive-thru but had a strong urge to walk in. Lol. Picked up my boots. They look great by the way. Like new again. Well, as I said, I walked in and  decided to peek into Forever 21. I saw this dress and thought, ‘You don’t need this. You never go out.’ But I told that little thought to get lost and bought the dress. Well, originally, I was going to drive up to Fredericksburg/Luchenbach this weekend, all by my lonesome, but got an invite from my dear friend, Ashley, to get dolled up for her birthday and I had just the dress! And for under $30. You can’t beat it.

Dress Forever 21 $27.90

Shoes Target $19.99

I love the contrast of this outfit. Polka dots, hot pink, and cheetah print. Getting back to work Tuesday was a breeze in this outfit…then came Wednesday 😞
