Bowie! ❤️⚡️

I hesitated getting this shirt, because I didn’t want to seem like I was jumping on the David Bowie bandwagon, but truth be told, I’ve been a huge Bowie fan for YEARS! I thought I was going to marry him when I was little (along with Tom Cruise and Garth Brooks 😜). Anyway, bought this shirt and love it.

Shirt: Chaser $65

Dresses with Cutouts

Two things I’m super into this season:

  1. Cutouts
  2. Off-the-shoulder

Nervous about either one? Well, I don’t have perfect abs, but this dress is super flattering. The open part hits the ribs and gives the illusion that your tummy is flat. Give one of these dresses a whirl.

Also, off the shoulder is so sexy. It will bring attention to your neck and shoulders and distract from problem areas. I’ll be posting more off the shoulder looks soon.

Dress: Ross $9.99

Boots: Cavenders $200

Underwater Selfie

If you know me well, you know I’m obsessed with water. I always seem to vacation where there’s water. And because I love water, I own an undisclosed amount of bikinis.

Here’s how I budget for so many bikinis:

  • I mix and match. I buy one top for every two bottoms or vice versa
  • I buy more expensive, supportive tops and cheap bottoms from Target or Walmart
  • I buy swimwear at the end of the season when it’s super cheap and save it for the next year.

Now get out and explore the great underwater adventures!

Also, I’m looooooving my GoPro camera. I’ve been wanting one for years and I’m so glad I have it now!

Bikini top: Victoria’s Secret $35

Bikini bottom: Walmart OPI $5.00

Fashion; It’s Every Where That You Go! 🌵

I’m having so much fun on my Texas Travel Spring Break! Traveling is such a huge part of who I am and it’s something I live (and budget) for.

    Here’s a few travel tips:

Anyway you can save money is key.

    1) Make a deal with your group to only eat out one meal a day by packing ice chests with sandwiches, drinks, and snacks. Also, you don’t have to eat at fancy-schmancy restaurants, either. I love eating at local, hole-in-the-wall places. We always meet the friendliest people and eat the best local food.

    2) You don’t have to stay in a 5-Star resort to have a good time. I’m hardly ever at my hotel. But do your research online and read reviews. Share a room with friends and split the cost.

    3) Do your research ahead of time and find out what’s free or relatively inexpensive to do around.

    4) Take cash and stick with that budget. Recount your cash at least once a day to see how you’re doing.

    5) Make an agenda or itinerary. Time is precious! Also, backtracking to places you already were nearby the day before is costly by means of time and gas. Have a plan.

    6) Have a go with the flow attitude. Things happen. Even vacations can be stressful, sometimes. But, with a positive attitude you you think clearer and wiser. Happy travels!

    Road Trippin

We’re road tripping, y’all! I dressed super casual for our looong trip. One of my favorite bands of all time are The Stones. So anytime I see a cute Stones shirt, I snag it. Also, these denim shorts are so comfy and cute. Great travel outfit, if I may say so.

    Shirt: Marshalls $12.99

    Shorts: Ross $9.99

    Spring Shoes

As a teacher, I’m on my feet all day. I can’t turn my back on my students for a minute; or even take a seat, for that matter. So when I saw these shoes and tried them on, they felt amazing! I can def walk and stand in these wedges all day.

Wedges: White Mountain from Marshall’s  $29.99

    Dress Season! 👗

This March has been warm! So I can start wearing my beloved embroidered Mexican dresses. I’ll have to wear this dress again soon to show how I belted it to give it shape. It was perfect for the Art Walk on Friday night.

Mexican dress: The Market Square in San Antonio $23

Pom Pom belt: Hobby Lobby (ribbon section) $2

    Wedges: Dolce Vita Dillard’s $60
