Running 👣

So, I used to be a runner. I gave up running last September, because I was having so many back problems and running seemed to aggravate the issues. So I did not register for a team in Corpus Christi’s Beach to Bay Relay Marathon this year. Well, a friend of mine lost a team mate and asked me to fill in. I accepted. And it was so much fun! I was so glad to have been part of it. Her team was awesome! 

And because I was feeling super pumped about running (without stopping and decent time) with no training since last September, I wore this super cute dress to an after-party.

It’s almost the end of the school year, so I thought, “yeah, I’ll go out on a school night.” 

Bad idea! I got home at 3 a.m.

But I loved this little grey dress. It was relatively inexpensive, but the quality is definitely there.

I decided not to leave for Austin on Saturday and it was a good choice! I got so much stuff done. 

But now I’m scrabbling to get my stuff together and get on the road!

This dress is for the true girly-girl. Soft, feminine, and colorful. It didn’t come with a belt and was too baggy, so this belt added some shape to my waist. 

It was a great Mother’s Day spent with my mom and grandma.

San Antonio Weekend


This Mexican belt is an absolute spring/summer must have! I swap out the belts that come with new dresses with this belt to give the outfit an entire new feel. 

And of course, I’m eating and drinking too much here in San Antonio. I’ll be drinking a cold pressed juice tomorrow ☹️
